Tracy Brawner grew up in the Long Island coastal town of Southampton, New York. She packed up and headed south to Vanderbilt University, where she received her B.S. in Psychology and Elementary Education, and later an M.S in Linguistics and ESL from Northern Arizona University. In between the two, she flew halfway across the world to serve as a Peace Corps volunteer for over 2 years in the Republic of Kiribati, Central Pacific. Mrs Brawner is starting her 21st year of teaching (10 at Woodridge), and is thrilled to be able to continue working with students in all grade levels as a Future Ready librarian!
